Flavors For Your Table
What We Serve Best
Street starters, slow-cooked curries and proper cha — the honest flavours of Bangladesh's family kitchens and Dhaka streets, served with a Tooting welcome.
Our Story
A Family Kitchen,
From Dhaka to Tooting
Dhoompan began with a simple belief: the food of Bangladesh's streets and family kitchens deserves a home in London. Run by Akhlaq and his family, our little spot on Trinity Road is exactly that — an intimate, no-frills dining room where the recipes are heirlooms and every guest is fed like family.
Special Dish
Brisket Keema ব্রিসকেট কিমা
Slow-cooked beef brisket folded into a deeply spiced keema masala, finished with crispy fried shallots, ginger and fresh coriander. Served the Dhakaiya way with a flaky, ghee-brushed paratha — the dish that built our 5-star reputation.
The brisket keema is genuinely one of the best things I've eaten in London. It tastes like someone's home cooking — because it is.
