The story

A small café with serious coffee.

Native is a compact specialty coffee bar and eatery on the ground floor of Mosaic District — a slow-bar counter for single-origin pour-overs, ceremonial-grade matcha whisked to order, and a short list of artisan sandwiches that people cross the city for.

The room is small on purpose: a cosy floor, outdoor seats and a first-floor perch for longer stays. And because it sits right on the main road, parking is the easy part.

Beyond the machine

Ask for the slow bar.

For the purists, Native keeps a slow bar beside the espresso machine — single origins weighed, bloomed and poured to order, plus piccolo and cortado done properly. The Kyoto Spanish latte and ceremonial matcha are the house signatures you won't find elsewhere in town.

If you are looking for authentic ceremonial grade matcha, Native is the place to go. Their Kyoto is something I haven't seen elsewhere in Pakistani coffee cafes.

So underrated!!!! Best sandwiches I've had. Would 11/10 recommend the Katsu club — plus all their coffees are just amazing.

The Thai chicken salad was really fresh, crunchy and delicious; the peanut butter dressing was a great addition to an overall good salad.
